"Our mission and purpose is to co-create a unique experience which inspires personal health and well-being and the discovery of the full human potential.
Founded in 1991, Savvy Health Solutions set out to develop a business model focused on assisting individuals with taking personal responsibility for their own health and well-being. At the core of this strategy is education through the process of teaching and coaching.
2000 – Opened and operated a high-end Fitness Center providing a high quality, non‐intimidating environment for individuals seeking professional help with their health and fitness requirements.
2002 – Began partnering with employers to implement our Injury Recovery (Savvy F.I.T. Academy) program as a method of providing injured workers with the best opportunity for returning to work as part of an Integrated Disability Management strategy within the employer’s workers’ compensation structure.
We work strategically with all members of the employer’s workers’ compensation group including the physicians, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, claims adjusters, nurse case managers, and legal.
2003 – Founder and CEO, Paul Wright, was selected to the State of California Task Force for Youth and Workplace Wellness where he served as a Member, Worksite Committee Chair and was instrumental in the creation of the California Fit Business Award and the California Fit Business Kit until the Task Force disbanded in 2010.
2004 – Initiated our Workplace Wellness program management with the successful award of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) contract, which we continue to manage today. In 2018, SUMD was recognized as the 10th best Workplace Wellness in the Nation.
2004 – Selected as the preferred vendor for Injury Recovery and Injury Prevention with Bragg & Associates, a third-party workers’ compensation administrator, representing both private and public employers. We continue to provide these programs through our relationship with York Risk Services who acquired Bragg & Associates in 2010.
2005 – Expanded our Injury Prevention and Workplace Wellness program management with organizations such as: Teichert, Holt of California, United Parcel Service (UPS), Raley’s, Aerojet, Schools Insurance Group and Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD).
2017 – Contracted as the preferred vendor for Soft-Tissue Injury Prevention and Workplace Wellness programming for the California State Association of Counties-Excess Insurance Authority (CSAC-EIA) representing over 1500 California Public Agencies.
2018 – Contracted as the preferred vendor for Soft-Tissue Injury Prevention and Workplace Wellness programming for the California State Risk Management Authority (CSRMA) representing 45 California Sanitation Districts.
2018 – Expanded our full-spectrum of long-term strategies focused on assisting employers with building a Fit-for-Life culture, which includes health, career, financial, social, community and spiritual. Infusing these six essential elements throughout the workplace has shown employees to be happier, healthier, more engaged and more productive.
Understanding the organization’s unique culture and processes, and operating as a part of it, allows for a seamless, efficient and productive workflow. Above all, it allows our time and energy to be focused on meeting the needs of the organization and its employees. This further progresses a results-oriented program that makes a significant difference in the lives of employees, dependents, and the overall health and well-being of an organization.
